LoL Players Agree: This Is The Weakest Role In The Game

Some League of Legends roles feel more impactful than others during the game. However, it seems like one role is unanimously in last place.

Some roles in League of Legends are more impactful than others. While you can affect the map with smart roams as a support or mid laners, junglers have an impact on every single lane. There is one role though that has felt weak for a long time.

What was once the kingpin of roles has since turned into the weakest and least desired on Summoner's Rift and players are hoping Riot will finally make some meaningful changes to the game. So, which role do players believe is the weakest? ADC, of course.

LoL Players Want Riot To Buff Weakest Role

In a recent Reddit thread, players have discussed their thoughts on the current state of the ADC role in League of Legends. This came up after a clip of former pro player turned streamer Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek went viral. In the clip Nemesis is seen reacting to Simon "Thebausffs" Hofverberg who called the role "so piss".

Nemesis agrees with baus in the viral clip, explaining that right now ADC is the worst role in the game and that it has even lost its identity. One of the main reasons why ADC feels so useless right now is how powerful support has become in recent times.

Support has become one of the best roles in the game, especially with picks like Senna gaining more and more prio. This just means that those people who used to play ADC could just queue support, pick Senna and become "an ADC but better" according to Nemesis.

This is a thought the community on Reddit seems to agree with. Many users seem to agree with the streamer, stating that the role has fallen off and become the weakest. Especially in low elo queues where there is little to no team play, picking ADC is guaranteed to be a bad time.

This sentiment isn't just felt by solo queue players, but in a recent episode of LCK Lanemates, all 10 LCK ADC players came together and most of them felt that their role has fallen off drastically and doesn't feel as impactful anymore as it once did. So it's not just solo queue, but the pros feel it as well, eh?

But with League of Legends continuously getting updates and new patches, there is hope of some changes coming at some point to nerf supports and, hopefully, buff ADCs. But for now all the community can do is complain on social media.
