Riot Games is going to be adding the brand-new and improved AI bots to the live servers soon. In September 2023, players got to test the beginner version of the bots and give Riot feedback on improvements. Now, the bots seem ready for live servers, with Riot announcing that they'll add them to live servers.

The Co-op vs AI bots are finally getting an upgrade to mimic real game situations. After much testing they're ready to be added to live servers and Riot have just revealed when they'll be coming to the LoL clients.

After some intense PBE testing in September 2023, the upcoming AI practice bots were taken offline once more for Riot to fix a bunch of bugs and implement the feedback given by fans. Well, now half a year later, it seems that the team is ready to show off what they've been working on.

Riot just revealed the release patch for the upcoming new Co-op vs AI bots, saying that they will implement them in LoL Patch 14.6 onto live servers. These bots should then hit the PBE two weeks before for some final testing.

Riot have explained that the primary goal for these bots is to "provide newer players with a space to learn and grow, while providing experienced players with a lower-stress mode to enjoy".

In the last few months since the bots were first tested on the PBE, Riot have fixed around 80 bugs, as well as imrpoved the AI's itemization and jungle movements. This means that the bots will also use the jungle lants when needed.

The new bots are meant to mimic a real game situation, meaning that instead of having two bots in the top lane, one will now go into the jungle. The AI is also going to take jungle objectives together as a team as well.

The team working on these bots has advised players though that some bugs could still slip through and have asked them to report those with the LoL Bug Reporter or to Player Support if they encounter any.
