3. Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is an insane pick, since he got his adjustments. Now, he is also playable as an ADC and totally rocks the bot lane with a solid win rate of 51.6%.

Build:

With Twisted Fate, you want to go Statikk Shiv first into Rapid Firecannon, so you get some wave clear on the one hand, but also some bonus range for your Gold Cards on the other hand.

Then, it's up to you: Stormrazor, Trinity Force, Kraken Slayer, Terminus, but also AP items, such as Zhonya's Hourglass all work great.

Powerspikes:

Twisted Fate needs quite some time to warm up. While the early game might not be the greatest with him, he truly shines later on with two or more items and his R available to make some picks.

Counters:

The hardest counter for Twisted Fate is Nilah. She can easily deny your Gold Card and give you a hard time in lane due to your low mobility.

Another counter is Yasuo. Similar to Nilah, he can just wind wall your W or Q.

Good Synergies:

Twisted Fate has a good synergy with Vel'Koz, Zyra and Brand. While TF sucks in the early game, because of his low damage output, these supports compensate this issue and on top of that give you an easy time to land your Gold Card with some CC.

2. Miss Fortune

Can't stop, won't stop! Miss Fortune is back once again! This time, though, she strutted from the first to the second place, but remains an OP pick.

With a win rate of 51.5%, she is the most blatant champ climbing up the ADC ladder, and for a good reason. She is one of the easiest champions LoL has got to offer, and with the changes on Lethality items, she definitely "knows what she's doing."

Build:

Miss Fortune's build path changes a bit now. With a nerf on Collector, you now go Youmuu's Ghostblade into Hubris. Hubris is a great alternative that grants you a snowballing passive.

Then, it's up to you: Serylda's Grudge, Edge of Night, Guardian Angel, Axiom Arc or new items like Voltaic Cyclosword and Opportunity are all great choices.

Powerspikes:

Miss Fortune is literally strong in every stage of the game. Where she really shines, though, is the mid-game. Chaotic fights for Baron or Drakes and Love Tapping everyone with her Passive is what she desires.

However, even if her early and late game is great, there are still lots of ADCs that can do it better than her in these stages of the game. So, make sure to make the best out of your mid-game.

Counters:

Miss Fortune's also got a rough time against Yasuo for the exact same reasons as with Seraphine. But on top of that, he can make sure to deny your entire Ult with his W. Feelsbadman. Draven and Twitch are also good against Miss Fortune. Draven can destroy you in the early game, meanwhile Twitch will demolish you in the late game.

Good Synergies:

Miss Fortune loves supports with hard CC, such as Maokai, Leona, Pantheon or Rell. These champs will give her an easy time using her Ult to its full duration.

1. Vayne

Vayne is our number 1 for Patch 14.4! She has already been amazing in the last patch, but with huge improvements on Terminus this patch combined with the buffs on Guinsoo's Rageblade last patch, she will now dominate bot lane more than ever. Currently, she got a whooping win rate of 52.7%.

Build:

With a buff on Guinsoo's Rageblade in Patch 14.3, Vayne's on-hit build became a lot stronger. Therefore, you want to go Blade of The Ruined King into Guinsoo's first.

Then, you can go for Terminus, Wit's End or Guardian Angel, all great choices, depending on your current situation.

Powerspikes:

Vayne is the strongest late game ADC you can have in a match. With percentage Max HP true damage, tons of attack speed and almost no cooldowns, a good Vayne player can carry any game in the later stages of the game.

Her early game can be a bit rough, on the other hand. While she got a low range, Vayne struggles a lot against lane bullies. However, this doesn't mean that she straight up sucks in this stage of the game! With the right supporter on her side, she can also dominate the laning phase.

Counters:

Vayne got a rough time against Nilah. Nilah can deny all of her damage output just by using her W and also demolishes her in her weak stages of the game.

Good Ezreal or Caitlyn players can also be rough to deal against due to their high range.

Good Synergies:

Vayne works great with engage supps, such as Braum, Maokai or Blitzcrank. Blitzcrank can give you an easy time landing your Condemn (E) with some good grabs. Braum and Maokai are also good champs, who can either protect her or engage on opponents.

Who Are Our A-Tier Bot Laners?

The A-Tier still holds strong as an excellent category. These champions are reliable choices that can lead you to victory. They become especially valuable when the top-tier S-Tier champions are off-limits due to bans. If you're looking to climb the solo queue ranks, grabbing some picks from the A-Tier is a solid strategy for this patch.

Lucian48.8%9.7%

Jinx51.2%10.2%

As our one and only APC in the A-Tier, Seraphine remains an incredible pick with lots of CCs, good damage and high range.

Nilah is also still an incredible choice! She works really well as a counterpick for TF, for example, but also other champs.

Just like Miss Fortune, Jhin can make great use of Hubris and Youmuu's. With the lethality changes, he is an insane ADC and can deal tons of damage.

Jinx and Twitch are both great champs with a lot of carry potential. Being patient will make its worth with these two.

Ashe got indirect nerfs with the adjustments on Trinity Force at the beginning of the season. However, she remains a great pick and can still carry with two or more items.

With buffs for Essence Reaver and Navori as Smolder's second item, he can dominate the game later on in the game. However, make sure not to overdo it in the early stages of the game! He first needs his stacks of Dragon Practice!

Lucian can also be a real thread with the right supporter. Combined with Milio or Nami, he will destroy everything what's in his path.

Who Are Our B-Tier Bot Laners?

The B-Tier encompasses champions that are solid, yet they don't quite match the prowess of the A- or S-Tier champions. They're suitable for certain matchups, but it's advisable to be well-acquainted with their mechanics before selecting them.

Samira49.4%7.8%
Draven46.9%3.9%
Sivir49.3%2.3%
Kog'Maw45.3%0.8%

Caitlyn is overall an incredible ADC. She is really easy to learn and got the highest base range in the game, giving you an easy time during the laning phase. But there are some combos that can be a little rough to understand. Especially with Cait, you need to know animation cancels and certain mechanics to get the most out of your champ.

Ezreal may look like a horrible pick with his win rate. However, keep in mind that this champ is really hard to play. In the right hands, he can be a great choice, despite the nerfs on Trinity Force.

Tristana can also be a real thread with the new item changes. Building Collector first and a good support on your right can work wonders, too.

With Ziggs, you got another nice APC next to Seraphine, who does a similar job. With high range and great push potential, you can hold your lane alone and let your supp help elsewhere.

He is rough to learn, but a good Yasuo can carry the bot lane alone. With tools like his wind wall, even the hardest hitting ADC's got no chance.

With a good engage supp, Draven and Samira can also shine. Combine them with Alistar or Maokai and you got an insane combo in the lane that give their opponents a rough time.

Sivir is a really safe laner. If you just want to perma push and have a chill time, this champ is for you. Her R can also help her team out a lot in team fights.

Kog'Maw got a horrible win rate right now. However, we're pretty sure that he can be an incredible pick when he gets enough time to scale. Buffs on Terminus and Guinsoo's not only do Vayne a favor, but Kog, too.

Who Are Our F-Tier Bot Laners?

We recommend steering clear of these picks for this patch. Whether it's due to dismal win rates or recent nerfs, it's best to sidestep these champions for optimal gameplay.

ChampionWin RatePick Rate
Zeri47.9%2.4%

Aphelios

48.4%

3.2%

Zeri remains underwhelming, despite some buffs for her Ult. A rework seems imminent to bring her back into the playable zone. She is the classic champ to rock Pro Play, but flop in Solo Queue.

Aphelios is one of those champs who aren't truly F-Tier, but since you aren't Gumayusi or Ruler, you probably shouldn't play him. Or if you try to play him, make sure to check out some guides first.

That rounds up the bot lane champions for LoL Patch 14.4. Which champions, according to you, stand out in terms of power?
