As it is often the case, the current Fortnite season will end in a live event. However, this time, the live event already started a couple of days before the official end of Chapter 5 Season 1. After players witnessed earthquakes all over the map that continuously got more powerful and even left cracks in the ground near Ruined Reels, the Titan Hand has finally appeared.

As you can see in the image above, there is a huge chest chained to the Titan Hand. This chest is supposed to be Pandora's Box and players need to destroy all the chains to drop and open the box during the ongoing live event.

How To Break The Chains Holding Pandora's Box

Well, the answer is pretty straight forward: Shoot them!

To destroy the chains, players have to shoot them until they break. If you reach the Titan Hand and start shooting one of the chains, a health bar will appear, slowly ticking down – really slowly... The chains actually have a ton of hitpoints so don't expect to be able to break them on your own. Players have to come together, stop killing each other for once and work together to break all chains.

There even is an account on Twitter/X reporting the progress of the community:

As simple as this might sound, it is rumored that the last remaining chain will have significantly more HP than the other chains. So prepare to spend some serious time shooting chains in Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 will officially end on March 8, so you still have some time to complete the live event.
