It is official: Kylian Mbappé is the new winner of the Ligue 1 Player of the Month award and will soon be coming to Ultimate Team in EA FC 24 as a Squad Building Challenge.
Despite already having two 92 rated cards with his Trailblazers and Team of the Week versions, the POTM card will also have a 92 OVR. Anyone who has ever used a juiced Mbappé card knows that he is worth the grind – his 91 standard rated card is still worth well over 2 million coins on the market.

Mbappe POTM SBC In EA FC 24: Rating And Price Speculation
It's no surprise that speculation is already running wild, as it makes sense to expect a 93-rated Mbappé when he already has two 92s. To give you some perspective: In FIFA 23, the first of two POTM SBCs for Mbappé was released on January 26 with a rating of 92 – even after the release of his extraordinary 97-rated TOTY.
At the time, the SBC was priced at around 2.1 million coins and required a total of 10 squads. Since his current best 92-rated cards are still worth nearly 4.5 million coins, releasing a 93-rated card as an SBC would simply be game-breaking. No one will be able to afford it or submit 40 squads in November.
In our opinion, EA is right to release him "only" as a 92, as he will be much cheaper than a potential 93-rated one. And don't expect this dude to be included as a gift from EA. They're going to make the most of the upcoming Black Friday event and will release a lot of packs that look promising for everyone who will be grinding for POTM Mbappé.

If we take a look at the POTM SBC for Mohamed Salah (91 OVR), we can estimate the price and number of squads required for Mbappé. Salah needed 8 squads and costs almost 1 million coins.
EA can't make the Mbappé POTM SBC much cheaper than 4 million coins if you buy every single player you require. Otherwise, they would crash their own market – not that we haven't seen that happen in the past.
We expect a total of about 20 required teams, but they will have a lot of needed Informs and also high ratings to complete the SBC. Since we all have only one month to complete them, we can only hope that EA keeps the total number of required teams fair...
EA FC 24: EA Confirms Mbappé SBC Release Date This Week
We already know that the POTM SBC for the Ligue 1 winner of October will be coming this week! EA confirmed this in a post on Twitter/X. We expect the POTM SBC to go live on Thursday, November 23. As always, new content will drop at 6 pm GMT/10 am PST/1pm EST. But he will be inthegame no later than Friday night, so save your coins. He could be boosting your squad well into next year.
