Fortnite has had Cash Cups for a long time, but now console players can also prove themselves without having to compete against mouse and keyboard players in sweaty PC lobbies. They offer the best opportunity for console players to earn some cash in Fortnite. But let's take a closer look at this new tournament series...

Explaining Fortnite Console Cash Cups

The Duo Console Cash Cups will be available exclusively for players competing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch.

In these cups, console players have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes in Fortnite. This tournament always spans two rounds, with the top 50 teams from Round 1 advancing to Round 2, where they then compete for the prize money.

Each competition segment of Round 1 of the respective Duo Cash Cup lasts approximately three hours. Teams are allowed to participate in a maximum of ten matches during the competition segment of Round 1 of a Duo Cash Cup.

In Round 2 of the respective Duo Console Cash Cups, teams participate in a single competition segment during the Round 2 time window of their respective region. During the competition segment of Round 2, teams are allowed to participate in a maximum of six matches within three hours.

At the end of the competition segment of Round 2 of a Duo Console Cash Cup, teams with the most points on the leaderboard in each region will be rewarded with cash prizes.
