LoL: Zeus Reveals Worlds Finals Facts About Faker

Faker is the best League of Legends players in the world with more victories than others, so it's no surprise that he is also a literal encyclopedia when it comes to LoL, right?

While the 2023 League of Legends World Champions are getting ready for their next tournament in Berlin, the players have been taking some time to stream and go over their Worlds run by reviewing the games and giving small behind-the-scenes information to fans.

In a recent stream, top laner and Finals MVP, Choi "Zeus" Woo-je, revealed that veteran Faker not only takes care of his own champion build, but is even able to show off his knowledge of the game by helping out his younger team members as well.

LoL: Faker Tells Zeus What To Build During Worlds Finals

In a recent stream, Zeus gave some insights into their playoff run through the League of Legends World Championship. During the stream, he went over the JDG series, revealing that JDG was an extremely intimidating opponent to go up against in the semi-finals.

With T1 having also played JDG in the semi-finals in 2022, Zeus also stated that he'd been a bit worried, thinking that this could be a repeat of the previous year.

He also took a look at the Finals series, where he explained that going into the series, jungler Moon "Oner" Hyeon-jun was extremely confident, stating that he would carry if he got his hands on an AD jungler. Zeus explained he'd been the one to reel the player in so he wouldn't get overconfident.

In the first match of the series, Zeus played Yone, but he was so fed that he had never completed his build in practice, so when it came to the mid-game, Zeus didn't know what to build, asking his teammates for advice.

I asked mid-game, "anyone know what to build for Yone's fourth item?" Faker recommended going Bloodthirster, so I went with BT.

Yone is often also picked in the mid lane, so it would make sense for Faker to know what items to build on the champion, even if he's been known for his mage picks in recent times. It's still incredible to see how a veteran player like Faker is able to keep so much information stored away.

Faker, Zeus and the rest of T1 will be playing the show series in Berlin on December 9, 2023, so make sure to tune in to the official Red Bull stream or Caedrel's co-stream to enjoy some more T1 action.
