In 2010 Blue Mountain State made its debut on Spike. The show managed to last for three seasons before it was cancelled, but it has since become a cult classic. Well, if you remember this series and enjoyed the craziness, then you're in luck.

The show is likely to be getting a sequel, with some of the key members of the first three seasons returning in their original roles.

Blue Mountain State Remake: Reacher Star Alan Ritchson To Reprise Role As Thad

According to Deadline, Blue Mountain State is going to be getting the sequel. The series about the fictitious university, Blue Mountain State, and their American Football Team, the Mountain Goats, is set to return over 10-years since the original series aired.

This wouldn't be the first sequel, though. In 2016 Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland , a full length film taking place right after season 3 ended, was released.

The Blue Mountain State Sequel will have Alan Ritchson, now known for his role on Reacher, return as Kevin “Thad” Castle and the series original co-leads Darin Brooks and Chris Romano are also said to come back in their original roles.

Unfortunately, it is not yet sure where the sequel will be broadcast, though some speculate it's either going to be Amazon or Netflix. There is also no information on when the series will be filmed or when it will even release, so we are going to have to stay patient.
