Initially, the release of Diablo 4 seemed to be a triumph for Blizzard, but after a few patches the company committed more and more missteps. Especially, the marketing team sometimes appears to work against rather than for the developer (remember the video released with the 2 female Diablo 4 developers who didn't even have the basics down while playing?)

Now, there has been another incident ...

Several Errors Found In The Diablo 4 Season 2 Trailer

Blizzard took down its own trailer after realizing the errors but the streamer and YouTuber Raxxanterax uploaded a video in which he captured the content and summarized the mistakes.

At first, a before-and-after image of a dungeon layout was displayed in the trailer. However, the streamer noticed that the "before" image seemed to have more changes than the "after" image. A comparison with the patch notes revealed that the images in the trailer had simply been swapped.

In the trailer horse speed was also shown off with a before-and-after video. The clip was supposed to show off the upgrade to horse speed, but it simply looked identical.

The next error is particularly amusing. Namely, the calculation for the exp changes. The results do not match the calculations, which makes it seem that those who worked on the trailer do not even know how to multiply with percentages. The sad thing is that it happened two times in a row.

Diablo 4 Season 2 - Season Of Blood - Launches Today

Blizzard announced in the Diablo 4 Campfire Chat that new bosses, a vampire theme with new vampiric powers and quality-of-life improvements await us.

Coincidentally, today October 17 marks the start of the second season and the simultaneous launch of Diablo 4 on Steam. So, you can witness the new features for yourself today. It has been confirmed that the game is fully playable on the Steam Deck. Unfortunately, you would have to purchase the game again on Steam as it's a different platform.
