With the countless collaborations that have taken place in Rocket League since its release in 2015, one might think that Disney's animated series "Cars" would have joined the world's best car soccer game much earlier. However, eight years later, it's finally happening: Lightning McQueen, the hero of the iconic movie series, is coming to Rocket League!

The "Lightning McQueen" Mega Pack is available in the game from November 7 and costs 2,500 credits (approximately $20). With this pack, players get the iconic red speedster (with the fantastic Dominus hitbox, no less), as well as various stickers, wheels, the "Ka-chow" goal explosion, and more.

Here are all the contents included in the "Lightning McQueen" Mega Pack:

  • Lightning McQueen (Dominus hitbox)
  • "Rust-eze" stickers
  • "Dinoco" stickers
  • "Cruisin'" stickers
  • "Lightyear Racing" wheels
  • "Lightyear Dinoco" wheels
  • "Lightyear Whitewall" wheels
  • Goal Explosion "Ka-chow"
  • Player banner "Lightning McQueen"
  • Player anthem "Life Is A Highway" by Rascal Flatts

What's particularly cool is the various stickers that can fundamentally change the appearance of the mischievous race car. The official announcement highlights the "Dinoco" sticker, and rightfully so. Just take a look at this stylish piece!

With "Life Is A Highway" (known from the movies) as the player anthem and the flashy "Ka-chow!" as the goal explosion, the Cars vibe really comes to life. It's not clear how long the pack will be available, but Epic confirms in the announcement that Lightning McQueen, the goal explosion, and the player anthem will also be available individually.
