Blind Pick was the least-played mode in League of Legends and wasn't very beginner-friendly, even though new players were forced to only play this one game mode until they had enough champions available to check out Draft Pick games.

Therefore, Riot made some changes at the end of LoL Season 13 and brought in Quickplay which was meant to improve the whole process. However, it's been very buggy and didn't go down super well. Now, Riot has revealed how they'll be adding in some features to improve Quickplay very soon.

LoL: Quickplay Changes To Improve Mode Coming Soon

Riot have made some changes to the different modes in the League of Legends client, with the newest addition being Quickplay. The mode is meant for players to do all their runes beforehand, choosing their champions already and once a game is found, players are transported to Summoner's Rift right away without a pick/ban phase. Easy-peasy, right?

Well, while in theory it's all fun and good, the reality is very different, with the mode being quite buggy. Player's Summoner Spells will be switched and on the wrong keys, while it will also often reset the runes, meaning instead of players going in and out of games at a rapid phase, they have to double and triple check their runes and spells before going to the next match.

There are also other issues, like the fact that you cannot have one champion selected for both roles which has bothered some players as well. Ryan "Reav3" Mireles, the Lead Gameplay Producer for League of Legends, has chimed in on Reddit, letting players know that Riot is aware of all the issues the mode has been facing.

We are working on fixes for the UI right now. We want to get them out sometime early this year. We are also working on the ability to queue as the same champion in multiple roles.

So, it looks like we will have the UI issues for Quickplay fixed pretty soon, but it sounds like it might take longer to fix the issues with selecting various champions.
