Who is Evelynn According to LoL Lore?
Evelynn wasn’t always the huntress we know her as today. Before she had her beautiful form with which she seduces men, she was nothing more than a shapeless shadow, merely existing without being truly sentient.
Had it not been for the conflict which roused her and stimulated her, then she would have continued to merely exist as this shadow. But then war and torment broke out in Runeterra in what later would be called the Rune Wars.
Pain. Suffering. Desperation. Emotions flooded into the shadow and for the first time, Evelynn's original form began to experience feeling and sensation. The Rune Wars waged on, torment grew and through those emotions, a new creature was born – a ravenous demon.

The wars eventually ended, and the demon continued to seek out the nourishment which the suffering of humanity brought with it. With no wars, the demon felt famished and realized it would have to seek out a new way on how to keep its hunger at bay.
Its shadow form could hardly get close to humans to feast upon their desperation and anxieties, so the demon knew it would have to create a new form with which it would lure these humans into its shadows.
The first attempts failed, but eventually, Evelynn realized that by using a human's own desires she could nourish herself. She created the perfect form with which she would lure in her victims, only for them to be tortured at her hands, the demon Evelynn feasting upon them, but never truly satisfied. She always wanted and needed more.

She’s only got one wish, for the world of Runeterra to be plunged into darkness and chaos once more. Only then will her lust and hunger be satisfied.
Is Evelynn Human According to Her Champion Lore?
Evelynn is not human. She is a demon who grew sentient due to the Rune Wars. She is an ancient being that first merely existed in the physical realm. Due to the suffering and chaos that erupted in Runeterra, she grew into a demon.

According to her champion lore, Evelynn had to shuffle through various shapes until she managed to create one which was attractive enough to lure in her prey before devouring them, relishing in their trauma.
Are Twisted Fate and Evelynn a Couple in LoL Lore?
In older champion lore, Evelynn was together with Twisted Fate, but since her rework that has been changed. Originally, Evelynn was merely an assassin instead of a demonic creature. When she got a rework, Riot decided to change her lore as well.
This means in her old lore she did have a relationship with Twisted Fate, hence why skins like Tango Twisted Fate and Evelynn exist, but this relationship is not canon anymore and not part of Evelynn’s champion lore.
