Keanu Reeves is in talks to resume his role as John Wick in the upcoming spin-off Ballerina.
Not gonna lie here folks: This movie poster for Ballerina that you see above might just be one of my all-time favorite movie poster. I'm seriously considering getting a large print and framing it for my living room. Like... come on, right? Anyway, that's besides the point, which is: A movie that already has a badass poster just gained a badass cast member: Keanu Reeves is in talks to join the Ballerina cast as John Wick.
Keanu Reeves Joins Ballerina Cast
The news was first broken by Collider who reported that Keanu Reeves is already in Prague, where the John Wick spin-off Ballerina is currently being shot. Of course, while the fact that Keanu Reeves is in Prague might confirm his apperance in Ballerina, it does not reveal whether he is going to play a major role, or if he's just there for a cameo.
Curiously, even though Ballerina is already in production in Prague, we know very little about the movie or its plot. All that we know is that it will focus on Ballerina, a young female assassin that seeks vengeance for the murder of her family. Ballerina will be played by Ana De Armas, who is taking over from the actual real-life ballerina Unity Phelan, who played the part in John Wick 3. Guess with a bigger budget, and more popularity, Hollywood wants a bigger name for the role.
