Gamer Of The Year: EarlyGame Awards In Favor Of Laureus Sport for Good 2024 Powered By Memory PC

It's that time again: The EarlyGame Awards 2024, in cooperation with Laureus Sport for Good Germany, have begun, and once again, it's time to crown the Gamers of the Year.

The top gamers of the year will once again be celebrated at the EarlyGame Awards in cooperation with Laureus Sport for Good!

What a crazy year – not just for us at EarlyGame, but also for some streamers who just went all out once again. We had a tough time picking from this fantastic selection to narrow down the nominees for this year's EarlyGame Awards in favor of Laureus Sport for Good, but a decision had to be made.

The streamers (and a YouTuber) who made it to the roster are the best streamers the German scene has to offer. Most of the candidates listed here are not newcomers in the business, but they keep finding new ways to captivate thousands of viewers!

Before we celebrate our candidates, just a quick reminder: the Awards are not just for our and your entertainment, but primarily for a good cause. A good deed every day, so don't hesitate to donate to Laureus Sport for Good Germany – and don't worry, every donated Euro goes to the cause, and you can benefit too!

Thanks to our partners at Memory PC, Euronics and DFS this wouldn't be possible!

Just like last year, our friends at Euronics are joining us for the Awards along with our main partner Memory PC, making the Awards possible – a big thank you to them! If you're looking for a gaming PC or any electronics, you'll definitely find it with our fantastic partners.

We don't want to forget our friends from DFS (Deutsche Flugsicherung) either, who have joined us as partners this year. They are helping us make this year's awards bigger (and more enjoyable) than ever before!

For those who prefer winning over buying: in the donation campaign, you can not only do good and redeem yourself for your misdeeds (I know exactly what you've done, don't try to fool me) but also snag absolutely cool prizes.

For every donated 5 Euro, you get a ticket for the raffle. Ten Euros get you two chances, and for 50 bucks, you're in the draw ten times. And if anyone wants to transfer some money personally to improve their chances, feel free to reach out (just kidding – everything here is fair and square, but I appreciate money gifts anyway).

We Also Have Awesome Prizes For You This Year!

There's a whole bunch of cool stuff to win, but the main prize is something special! This year, thanks to our main partner Memory PC, we have not one but three powerful gaming PCs up for grabs!

The main prize sponsored by Memory PC really packs a punch!

Even if you don't get your hands on one of these beauties, participating is worth it for other fantastic prizes, including headsets, mice, keyboards, and more.

While we won't publicly announce the winner (that would be a privacy nightmare), if you're lucky, you might find a package containing a gaming PC worth nearly $3,000 at your doorstep! We will raffle the prizes in the weeks following the awards and will get in touch with the winners by March 8, 2024.

But now let's get to the most important topic: the nominees and your votes! It's entirely up to you who takes home the Oscar of the streaming industry – the stylish EarlyGame Award for Gamer of the Year – and the revamped streaming background.

Eli has already won it twice and proudly boasts about it at every opportunity.

However, the community ultimately decides the winner, so make sure to hit those keys and vote.

By the way, for those who just want to vote and, for whatever reason, don't want to donate, you don't have to go home empty-handed.

For those who votes, we also have a little extra surprise! DeskYou is providing some mousepads that we will raffle off among all the people who have voted! Who can resist a cool custom mousepad, right?

Gamer Of The Year 2024 – Criteria

We didn't randomly choose the nominees – as every year, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (especially mine) went into the selection. And a little bit of thinking.

By the way, the order is random, so don't construe too much into it.

Of course, we've set some rules for selecting candidates (they don't have to meet all of them), in case you're interested:

  • Presence as a significant part of the German streamer scene
  • Epic Gamer Moments
  • Massive followers and community
  • Must play video games on stream
  • Like seriously, as a gamer, you gotta play video games!

The EarlyGame Awards 2024: Live on YouTube on February 25, 2024!

If you want to watch the awards show to find out if your votes were enough to get your favorite streamer, esports player, etc., to the top and secure them that juicy trophy, you can tune in live on our YouTube channel on February 25, 2024, at 8:00 PM.

It's also a welcome react-content opportunity for the streamers, and we definitely won't copyright strikes your content (I promise)!

If you happen to miss the event, you can, of course, watch it later on our YouTube channel, but come on, you watch Twitch, so be there live! So until then, it's all about voting, voting, voting!

Enough preamble, here are the nominees, and we've used only the most beautiful pictures (we did an Instagram Deep-Dive for this). At the end of the day, you decide who takes home the Award, so vote diligently!

Upcoming Streamer Of The Year 2024 – The Nominees

EliasN97

Elias is already a veteran at the EarlyGame Awards in favor of Laureus Sport for Good. He has won it twice before, and this year, it's about the triple! That's not the only reason he got nominated, though – he only knows one direction, and that's up! At least when it comes to his Twitch viewership because it hasn't dipped once since he started streaming.

Sure, Eli streams a lot of Just Chatting, but he's still a true gamer and should at least have the right to defend his title against tough competition this year.

Papaplatte

Papaplatte
Papaplatte probably had the best year among all nominees, but will he win? | © Papaplatte via Instagram

If you were on Twitch at all this year, Papaplatte should definitely ring a bell. Hell, even my grandma mentioned that some guy on Twitch apparently helped someone win a million on Joko and Klaas! That made headlines!

Aside from that, Papaplatte had an epic year and enjoys spending his time gaming, like the latest WoW release, Season of Discovery, where he and his buddies crashed the server! It was not nice that my friends and I coincidentally wanted to start on the same server... but we've switched since, it was just too chaotic. Thanks, Kevin!

BastiGHG

How could we try to nominate the Gamer of the Year and not have a candidate who a) streams faceless and b) mostly plays Minecraft! It's a jackpot that we have BastiGHG, who does both. Even better that he does both so successfully that his nomination was an absolute must.

Seriously, Minecraft is so huge that you can't leave out the biggest German streamer. Basti has played 11,760 hours of Minecraft on stream (and counting), and events like CraftAttack boost his popularity even more.

We asked you in a YouTube video if you wanted to see him nominated, and Basti was a candidate you really wanted.

MontanaBlack

Monte
Monte is the veteran among the nominees but will experience win him the trophy? | © MontanaBlack via Instagram

Ah, good old Monte. Most of you are probably too young to remember his good old CoD rage videos on YouTube, but the name Marcel Eris is likely familiar to you.

Not nominating MontanaBlack would be sacrilege, not just because he recently hit the 200,000 live viewer mark with his Christmas event.

Okay, that was a pretty strong argument, but otherwise, Monte is simply an essential part of the German Twitch scene and deserves an award for it.

For that, he has to participate, and with how busy the boy is with Gönrgy, he probably has to clear some time in his schedule first.

HamedLoco

Hamed Loco

Last year's Upcoming Streamer of the Year, Hamed, is now playing with the big boys! Okay, compared to the others, his follower count (for now) is a bit lacking, but anyone who can trigger a police operation with their fan event will definitely leave a mark on Twitch.

Hamed might be the underdog at the EarlyGame Awards in support of Laureus Sport for Good 2024, but with the effort he put in last year, he could genuinely challenge Eli for the trophy!

xRohat

X Rohat
Rohat finally made it onto this list, buit will his community vote him to victory? | © Rohat via Instagram

With xRohat, we have our first (but not last) representative from the GTAV RP category. Okay, lately, he's played more Fortnite and spent a lot of time in Just Chatting, but GTAV is still his most streamed game on stream!

Otherwise, Rohat is on the verge of reaching 1 million followers (currently at 934,097), and that's already a big deal!

As one of the biggest German streamers, Rohat has earned his spot here, and his networking skills in the scene are pretty impressive tbh!

HoneyPuu

Honey Puu
Finally acknowledged by Amouranth, HoneyPuu seems unstoppable this year| © HoneyPuu via Instagram

Let's start with our women-powered corner and kick off with HoneyPuu. Women on Twitch are currently either half-naked or cool gamers. Fortunately, HoneyPuu is the latter and proves as the biggest German female streamer that it takes more than showing your butt on camera, even though that seems to work pretty well for some others.

Isa doesn't need that and prefers to impress with personality and gaming skills! Especially in League of Legends, she has invested a good number of hours, but she also plays a variety of games like Minecraft, Valorant, Warzone, and... Sims? Well, now she's nominated.

Last year, HoneyPuu narrowly missed the victory, but if she puts in the effort, it could look different this year!

Fingers crossed, Isa, you got this! (No, I'm not biased because I met her at Gamescom).

xFibii

X Fibii
Fibii is already one of the biggest streamers on Twitch and she only just started her journey | © xFibii via Instagram

And as probably the biggest rising talent on Twitch, we had to nominate xFibii! By the time the Awards happen, she'll finally be 18 years old, and maybe she'll get a cool trophy from us for her birthday?

But you have to vote for that, or rather, she has to motivate you to vote, otherwise, it won't happen!

As a true gamer, Fibi has definitely earned her nomination, and when it comes to growth on Twitch, she really knows how it's done. If she approaches the Awards with the same attitude that brought her success on Twitch, she could make all the veterans here look old.

Trymacs

Trymacs
Trymacs organized more Twitch-Events this year than enyone else | © Trymacs via Twitch

Whether you believe playing mobile games counts as gaming or not, Trymacs has earned his spot on this list through hard work.

Not many people organize as many cool streamer events as he does, and in a world where almost all the big streamers are just chatting, he's playing Fortnite (and Clash Royale).

Trymacs is a titan in the scene, so he absolutely deserves to be nominated for Gamer of the Year at the awards.

AbuGoku9999

Abugoku9999
This year's nominees sure like GTA! | © Abugoku via Instagram

The second candidate for our GTAV RP nominees, and with insane watch time, we got AbuGoku.

Abu has gained a whopping 10,000,000 hours watched this year, almost entirely with gameplay! Now, if that doesn't scream gamer.

Otherwise, the streamer has had a fantastic year and is counted among the absolute top streamers in Germany (almost exclusively with GTAV).

Honestly, I'm really excited to see how his Twitch stats explode when GTA VI comes out. That's going to be insane!

Paluten

Paluten
You guys decided that we shall nominate Palle as an honorary Gamer of the year and here he is! | © Paluten via Instagram

Okay, I know we said we're nominating streamers, but in our YouTube video asking who you want to see, you guys really asked for Palle.

We wanted to respect that, so we decided to nominate Palle as an honorary gamer.

Paluten might not be a Twitch streamer, but he's definitely a gamer, and on his YouTube channel, he mostly creates content about video games.

Sure, it's not everyone's content (put away the pitchforks, but for me, it's not), but Palle is just such a wholesome dude that nobody would begrudge him a win at the awards (except maybe Eli, who probably wants the triple).

Voting is free, and if you want your favorite creator to take home the highly coveted trophy, just leave your vote quickly. Additionally, if you can spare it, consider making a small donation to Laureus Sport for Good. By doing so, you'll have a chance to win fantastic prizes, such as one of three amazing gaming PCs from Memory PC, with a total value of over €5000!

As a master graduate of sociology who wrote his thesis about Twitch, Robert knows a fair share about streaming. Adding to that, he loves binge-watching TV shows, so he got entertainment covered....
