In the 90s, Blizzard released several iconic games that have left a lasting impact on the gaming world. Although many of these classics are no longer playable, fans can now rejoice as these old favorites are being revived and added to the Blizzard.net client.

Now, most of you might not have even been a thought in your parents minds, but for the few boomers and millennials who read our articles, it's time to get excited because some old classics are now available again.

Warcraft & Diablo: Blizzard Brings Classic Games

Three 90's Blizzard titles have been re-released onto the Battle.net client. The first and oldest of the bunch is none other than Warcraft: Orcs & Humans which had its original release back in 1994.

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans marked the beginning of the Warcraft franchise. It was groundbreaking for its real-time strategy gameplay, compelling fantasy storyline, and innovative multiplayer capabilities. It set a new standard in the genre. The release on Battle.net still allows you to play with friends as well.

Along with Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Blizzard has also added their 1995 title Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness. This game was added along with its expansion Beyond The Dark Portal which is pretty exciting.

The third game is none other than the original Diablo from 1997. The original dungeon crawler in which you slay multiple demons to collect loot is being added to the client. Players will also receive the original manual, with a bestiary and an overview of the world's lore.

So if you're an older gamer who wants to play some classics this is great, but even younger players can try out these games to see what their elders had to go through before games had millions of frames per second.
